1. Introduction

At Nipun India Skill Development And Training Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services, or interact with us in any way.

1A. Nipun Skill Hub Mobile App

The Nipun Skill Hub Android app (package com.nipunindia.training) is the official mobile ERP for training centers, students, and administrators. It uses the same secure systems as nipunindia.com.

  • Account login (center / student / admin credentials)
  • Student and center profile data needed to run training operations
  • Optional device notifications for student notices (when enabled)
  • Photos you choose to upload (for example student profile or documents)
  • Payment / wallet recharge processed by our payment partner (Cashfree); we do not store full card numbers in the app
  • Enquiries you send from the app (name, mobile number, course and chosen training center), which go to that center and to Nipun India HQ

Ads and usage statistics in the app

  • Ads: some student screens (dashboard, practice list and notices) show banner ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, and app interaction data to show and measure ads, as described in Google's advertising policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads / Privacy > Ads).
  • Usage statistics: the app sends the name of each screen you open, a random app-install ID and the time spent to Google Analytics through our server, so we can count app usage alongside website visits. Our server also passes on your IP address and device type so reports can show city and device; Google Analytics does not store the IP address. No name, mobile number, email or password is sent.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your Nipun Skill Hub account and its data at any time. See how to delete your account.

1B. WhatsApp Alerts for Schools

Our WhatsApp alerts service lets schools and institutes send attendance alerts, fee reminders and notices to parents and students on the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.

Who is responsible for the data

The school or institute that uses the service decides whom to message and why. It is responsible for the data (the data fiduciary / controller). We process the data only on the school's instructions, to deliver the service (as data processor).

Data we process for this service

  • Student name, class / section and admission or roll number
  • Parent or guardian name and WhatsApp number
  • Attendance, fee due and notice details needed for the message
  • Message content, delivery and read status, and replies sent by parents
  • Name, number and account details of the school's WhatsApp Business account

How we use it

  • Only to send the school's messages, show delivery reports and handle replies
  • We do not use this data for our own marketing, and we do not sell or rent it
  • Messages are sent only to parents who have agreed to receive WhatsApp alerts from the school. Parents can stop alerts by replying STOP or by contacting the school

Sharing with Meta (WhatsApp)

To deliver a message, the recipient's number and the message content are sent to Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). Meta processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy, including the WhatsApp Business Terms. Meta's servers may be outside India.

Retention and deletion

Message logs are kept while the school uses the service, so that it can see its delivery history. When a school stops the service, or asks us to, we delete its student, parent and message data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer. A parent who wants their number removed can ask the school or write to us at info@nipunindia.com.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each school can see only its own data, and access tokens for WhatsApp accounts are stored encrypted.
