- The app (shown as Nipun Skill Hub) uses the same records as the nipunindia.com website — results, certificates and attendance stay in sync.
- Android users install the APK from nipunindia.com/app; iPhone users add the web app to the Home Screen through Safari until an App Store version is available.
- Students can use practice papers, take scheduled online exams, check results, download approved certificates and read center notices.
- Training centers can manage enquiries, students, attendance, exam enrolment, certificate approval requests, tuition fees, wallet and notices.
Nipun India's training app — it appears on phones as Nipun Skill Hub — is the mobile version of the same student and training-center system that runs on the nipunindia.com website. Students use it to see their exams, results, certificates and notices. Partner training centers use it to manage admissions, attendance, exams and fees. This page explains how to install it on Android and iPhone, how to log in, and exactly what each type of user can do, so you know what to expect before you download it.
The app is only useful if you are a student enrolled through a Nipun India partner training center, or you run an approved partner center. It is not a general learning app and does not have public video lessons. If you are not enrolled, you do not need it — the rest of our Learning Center articles are free to read on any browser.
One system, three ways to open it
The app and the website share the same records. An exam result, certificate or attendance entry made on the website appears in the app, and vice versa. You can use whichever is convenient:
| Option | Works on | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Android app (APK) | Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 or later | Daily use on an Android phone |
| Home Screen web app | iPhone and iPad through Safari; also works on Android browsers | iPhone users, or anyone who does not want to install an app |
| Website login in any browser | Any computer or phone with Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Samsung Internet | Large screens, printing, or if the app is not installed |
The current download options, version number and file size are always listed on the official app page at nipunindia.com/app. Use that page as the only source for the app.
Before you install: a quick checklist
- You are enrolled through a partner training center, or your center's application has been approved
- You have your login details from your center (students) or from registration (centers)
- Your phone has some free storage and a working internet connection
- Android phones: Android 7.0 or later. iPhones and iPads: a recent version of Safari
- You will download only from the official page, nipunindia.com/app
If you are not sure whether you have an account, ask your training center first. Installing the app does not create an account, so there is no point installing it before you have login details.
Installing on Android
The Android app is provided as an APK file from the official website. Once a Google Play listing is live, the app page will link to it as well.
- On your Android phone, open Chrome (or your usual browser) and go to nipunindia.com/app.
- Tap Download APK.
- If Android asks, allow Install unknown apps for that browser (usually under Settings → Apps → Special app access). This permission is needed for any app installed outside the Play Store.
- Open the downloaded file and tap Install, then Open.
- Log in with your details (see the login section below).
- After installing, you can turn the "Install unknown apps" permission off again for your browser. This is a good safety habit.
Never install a copy of the app forwarded on WhatsApp, Telegram or by a stranger, even if it has the same name. Fake APK files are a common way of stealing OTPs and bank details. Download only from the nipunindia.com app page. Our cyber safety guide explains why.
Using it on iPhone and iPad
Apple does not allow APK files on iPhones — this is an Apple rule, not a fault. Until a native app is available through the App Store after Apple's review, iPhone and iPad users can add the web version to the Home Screen so it opens like an app:
- Open Safari (not Chrome — Home Screen installation works through Safari on iOS).
- Go to nipunindia.com/app and tap the option to open the portal.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, keep the name "Skill Hub", and tap Add.
- Open the new icon from your Home Screen and log in.
When an App Store version is published, the app page will show an App Store button.
Logging in
There is no public sign-up inside the app. Accounts are created when a student is admitted through a partner center, or when a training center's application is approved. To log in:
- Students: use the login details given by your training center (usually your registered email or ID and a password). If you do not have them, ask your center — they manage student records.
- Training centers: use your center's unit ID or registered email and the password set during registration. Center accounts can log in to the app only after the center's application has been approved.
Never share your password with anyone, including people claiming to be from support. If you forget it, contact your center (students) or Nipun India support through the contact page (centers).
What students can do in the app
| Section | What you see or do |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | A summary of your exams attempted, passed and pending, your certificates, your attendance percentage and recent results |
| Practice papers | Multiple-choice practice papers published for your course. You can attempt them more than once; the app keeps your attempt count and best score |
| Online exams | When your center enrols you for an exam, the multiple-choice exam appears here. It opens on the scheduled date and can be attempted once |
| Results and marks cards | Your exam results; marks cards can be downloaded as PDF once approved |
| Certificates | Your certificates with their certificate numbers and status. When a certificate is approved and issued, you can download the PDF. Until then it shows as waiting for approval |
| Notices | Announcements for your center and course, with unread counts. You can mark them as read |
| My center | Your training center's name, address, phone number, director's name, your course, batch and application number |
| Profile and photo | Your student profile details. You can submit a new profile photo, which goes to your center for approval before it replaces the old one |
| Notifications | Push notifications on your phone for new notices and updates, if you allow notifications |
Tips for students
- Use practice papers before the real exam. They follow the multiple-choice format. Aim to improve your best score, not just finish. Our exam preparation guide also covers the practical part, which is done at your center.
- Check your exam date. The online exam opens only on its scheduled date, and you get one attempt — make sure your phone is charged and your internet is stable before starting.
- Check your name on the profile and on your certificate. If anything is wrong, tell your center in writing before the certificate is issued.
- Save your certificate number. Employers can check it at nipunindia.com/verify — see how verification works.
What training centers can do in the app
Approved partner centers get a mobile version of their center management tools:
| Area | Features |
|---|---|
| Dashboard and reports | Counts of students, exams and certificates, tuition collected, wallet balance and month-wise enrolment and certificate trends |
| Enquiries | Record walk-in or phone enquiries (name, mobile, date, date of birth, course interest) and update them as they follow up |
| Students | Add new students with photo, view the student directory, and see each student's course, exam and certificate status |
| Attendance | Mark and save daily attendance for students |
| Exams | Enrol a student for an exam by choosing the exam paper and date. The exam fee is paid from the center's wallet balance |
| Certificates | See which passed students are ready, waiting or approved; submit theory and practical marks for certificate approval; download approved certificates and marks cards |
| Tuition fees | Set each student's tuition fee, record payments and open payment receipts |
| Wallet | Check balance and transactions, and recharge the wallet through the online payment gateway |
| Notices | Send announcements to all students at the center, and read notices from Nipun India headquarters |
| Birthdays | See upcoming birthdays of students and enquiries and open a birthday greeting card |
| Center profile and authorisation | Update the center's profile and download the center's authorised training center certificate |
How the certificate process works for centers
- The center enrols the student for the exam and the exam fee is deducted from the wallet.
- The student takes the exam; results are recorded.
- For passed students, the center submits theory and practical marks for certificate approval.
- Nipun India reviews and approves the request.
- Once approved, the certificate and marks card can be downloaded, and the certificate number can be verified online.

Common problems and fixes
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| "App not installed" on Android | Check that your phone runs Android 7.0 or later, that there is free storage, and that any older copy is updated rather than duplicated. Download the APK again from the official page |
| Cannot find "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone | Make sure you are in Safari, not Chrome or another browser, and scroll down in the Share menu |
| Login fails | Check spelling of your email or ID and password. Students should confirm details with their center; centers should confirm their application is approved |
| Exam not visible | Your center may not have enrolled you yet, or the exam date has not arrived. Ask your center |
| Certificate shows "waiting" | The approval step is not complete yet. Ask your center about the status |
| Download does not open | Check your internet connection and that a PDF viewer is available on your phone |
